Nududu

Delete your Nududu account and data

You can delete your Nududu account, and everything Nududu holds about you, at any time. You don't need the app installed to ask.

Delete your account

Your account is only needed for paid plans (the Family plan and Pocket Dietitian). It holds your email address and your plans.

  • In the app or on this website: open Your account, sign in, and tap Delete my account. This cancels any plan straight away and deletes your account.
  • Can't sign in? Email [Contact email] or send a WhatsApp message to [WhatsApp support number] from the email address or number you used, and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm when it's done, within 30 days at the latest.

Delete the rest of your data

Most of what you put in Nududu (meals, readings, medicines) stays on your phone and never reaches us. Things you chose to send online are deleted separately:

  • Everything on your phone: in the app, go to Me → Profile → Privacy, backup and your data → Delete all my data, or uninstall the app.
  • Online backup (on our server, locked with your recovery code): Me → Profile → Privacy, backup and your data → Turn off and delete online copy.
  • Sharing with family (on our server, locked with your family code): Family → Stop sharing with everyone.
  • Pocket Dietitian (on our server, seen by your dietitian): Pocket Dietitian → Leave Pocket Dietitian. This deletes your plan, reviews and what you shared.
  • Sharing with a clinic: Me → Profile → Privacy, backup and your data → Stop sharing.

If you can't use the app any more, email [Contact email] and we'll delete these for you.

What we keep

  • Payment records: Stripe, our payment provider, keeps records of payments for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Security log: a note that an account was deleted, with no health data in it, stays in our security log for up to 2 years.
  • Things you stopped using: even if you never delete them, an online backup not updated for 2 years, a Pocket Dietitian membership with no update for a year, and sharing with a clinic with no update for 6 months are deleted automatically.
  • Anonymous usage counts: counts that can't be linked to you, such as how many people logged a meal on a day, aren't deleted, because they hold nothing about you.
